PAGAMON CONTRIBUTES TO CEREMA'S WORK ON "MAAS AND CARPOOLING"

As part of the work initiated by the MaaS observatory and focused on feedback, Pagamon participated in the “MaaS and carpooling” working group whose conclusions were published in June 2021.

Cerema (standing for Center for studies and expertise on risks, environment, mobility and development) is a public institution dedicated to supporting public policies, under the dual supervision of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities.

As part of its missions, Cerema runs the MaaS observatory, a collection of initiatives to share knowledge on serviced mobility.

Pagamon contributed to one of the “MaaS and carpooling” working groups, with the objective of detailing the possible ways of integrating carpooling into multimodal platforms. Alongside leading players such as BlaBlaCar, Keolis and Flixbus, Pagamon contributed its experience of MaaS solutions and its vision of the evolution of the carpooling integration market in multimodal platforms:

  • Multimodal integration, making carpooling visible on multimodal information systems.
  • Intermodal integration, proposing intermodal itineraries combining carpooling and public transport.
  • Ticketing and fare integration, giving access to several modes of transport with a single ticket or medium.
  • Complete integration, allowing the use of several mobility services without leaving a multimodal application.

A webinar was held on June 10, 2021 to share the working group’s findings.
