PROJECT DESCRIPTION

  • Following its integration into an international group, the site must meet two challenges:
    • Ability to serve both the European and North American markets.
    • Increase in volumes by 50% in 3 years.
  • The client wishes to identify the key points of these challenges to prepare for them.

PROJECT APPROACH

  • Diagnosis of the current situation in terms of capacity for new production and logistics flows (note: the current situation is close to asphyxiation).
  • Establishment of a coherent development plan for the site over the next three years.

RESULTS

  • Sizing of an additional building to provide the necessary space for the increase in volumes (lack of space, difficulty in complying with good manufacturing practices, safety risk, costs).
  • Confirmation of the urgency of the schedule (to accommodate growth, construction must be decided quickly).
  • Development of a business case for the parent company.
